nature journaling

Charlie Eleanor DeRuiter

I nature journal as a way to relax take pleasure in observing the intricacies of the environment. I began a few years ago, and it brings me quite joy. Allowing me the opportunity to delve deeply into the beauty surrounding me, closely examining the little details that could easily go unnoticed. I find peace in immersing myself in this practice. It allows me to escape the chaos of everyday life and enter a tranquil state of mind and appreciation. The act of journaling about nature has become a source of great satisfaction for me, offering both an aesthetic and contemplative outlet--keeping me present and appreciative of creation's myriad wonders in the midst of the tumult of life.

Weeds are flowers, too, once you get to know them.
